A huge event during TT looks set to take over a twenty-acre site on the TT course near Creg ny Baa.
Called Motofest, the event would run from 8am to midnight throughout Race Week, and feature stunt shows, live music and vintage bikes on display.
Organisers have written to Onchan Commissioners, who are due to discuss it at a meeting on Monday.
The organisers describe themselves as TT fans, and claim the TT is losing its soul.
Motofest says it plans a grandstand to watch the racing, as well as a VIP area offering hospitality and a bar.
A planning application has been submitted to change the use of the fields from agricultural to allow the event to go ahead.
Tina Carter, the event’s commercial director, says this event is unrelated to Mannifest
