Construction work got underway at the site this week
More funds can be found to cover a new multi-million pound community complex in Braddan should the work go over-budget.
Chairman of the Commissioners Andrew Jessopp says preparations have been put in place for a potential increase in costs.
Work on the project at Strang Corner Field started this week and is expected to take 18 months to complete.
Mr Jessopp says the facility will prove to be an important investment for future generations:
