Coloured crossings being installed on Douglas Prom

They'll help make junctions 'more conspicuous'

New sets of coloured and textured crossings are being installed on a section of Douglas Promenade.

The layouts will be placed at each landside crossing north of the Broadway junction.

Prom team officials say it'll help make the junction 'more conspicuous' and 'promote priority to the pedestrian'.

They add the blue colour will extend across the junction when the work is finished.
