Financial motion soon to be presented to Tynwald
There's a clear mandate from Tynwald and the Manx people to push on with the redevelopment of Douglas promenade.
That's according to Infrastructure minister Ray Harmer.
He says having a long-term plan is vital, whilst meeting the needs of this summer season with regards to the horse trams.
A financial motion will be brought to Tynwald by the DoI to secure capital funding, whilst further detailed design work takes place.
Mr Harmer says the department's vision is clear:
Tynwald approves changes to sitting schedule, including half-term breaks and revised start dates
Plea to Manx parents to check meningitis vaccination status
