Project raises over £4,000 for Hospice IoM
Hundreds of Christmas trees have been collected and turned into compost as part of a festive clear out organised by Hospice Isle of Man.
The public were invited to dispose of trees in skips placed around the Island in early January and make a contribution towards the disposal.
The recycling project, co-partnered by the Isle of Man Post Office, raised over £4,000 pounds.
Sharon Connor from the Hospice says the project, which started three years ago, took a lot of coordination and logistical planning.
She says the support received from the Post Office team was invaluable, and is looking forward to next years scheme.
