Firefighters were called to a house in Port St Mary on Friday to rescue a stuck child.
The Fire and Rescue Service was called out shortly before 11am to a house in Queens Road after a mum reported her nine month old child was trapped down the side of its cot.
The emergency services released the child who, along with their mother was very distressed state.
Station Officer Tony Duncan says the child was unhurt by their ordeal.
