Samaritans received 250,000 throughout the British Isles last Christmas
The co-director of the Isle of Man branch of Samaritans says volunteers are there to listen over the festive period.
The charity received 250,000 calls across the British Isles throughout Christmas and New Year last year.
Volunteers, including those on the Island, are available 24/7 to help those who need someone to talk to.
Amy Granger told Manx Radio's Oliver Sykes that one of the big issues at this time of year is loneliness:
