Living wage is now £12.01
It's important that people on the Isle of Man earn a decent wage so they can participate in society.

The Living Wage - a voluntary rate designed to help people afford basic opportunities, goods and services, has gone up to £12.01 per hour.
It's an increase of 96p over the last year.
Dr Allinson says the increase will not affect businesses and that it's important to merge minimum wage and living wage by 2025:

CEO Rebecca George believes harmonisation between the minimum and living wage should be staggered:
NB: The Chamber of Commerce has asked Manx Radio to change the wording 'stagnated' to 'staggered' due to an error by the speaker. We are happy to do so.
