Ashford says some departments don't have expertise
Capital projects on the Isle of Man should be scrutinised after they are approved as well as before.
That's the view of the treasury minister who says individual government departments don't necessarily have the expertise to manage high-value schemes.
Plans to oversee capital projects via a central unit are currently being looked at.
