Group says new service cuts make journeys harder for residents and visitors
Campaigners have raised concerns about changes to the recently launched 8S bus service in the south of the Island.
Save Our Cregneash Bus says the reduced timetable is confusing for passengers, with only three direct services now running from The Sound to Peel.
Other services terminate at Port Erin, with the last bus from Port Erin to Peel leaving at 3.20pm, and the final departure from Peel to The Sound at 1.05pm.
The group argues the changes could make travel more difficult for both residents and visitors, and says clearer information is needed.
The 8S service was only introduced a month ago, after an earlier version was scrapped in July 2024 by then-Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall, who said it was 'financially unviable'.
Current Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood has admitted the timetable "isn't perfect" but says it can be adjusted to better connect with the Steam Railway.
