Onchan MHK apologises in Bushy's row
Onchan MHK Rob Callister says he takes full responsibility for the decision to write to Bushy's asking them to refrain from using the TT initials on merchandise.
He is the member of the Department of Economic Development with responsibility for motorsport.
There has been a social media outcry over the issue.
Mr Callister says it is his duty to protect the TT brand, so it remains attractive to official partners and sponsors.
But he's apologised for the way the matter has been handled.
