Diversions being put in place
UPDATE: A DoI sweeper is along the route. It's not known when the road will be reopened, but it's hoped by midday.
Police also now say Orrisdale Road, Ballasalla, is now passable with care.
Police have closed Brown Cow Hill in Santon due to flooding in the area.
Officers are currently working with the Department of Infrastructure to arrange diversions.
Meanwhile, southbound traffic on the Old Castletown Road is gridlocked due to an issue with traffic lights in Ballasalla.
IoM Transport says all bus services to and from the south are being diverted from Fort North roundabout via Braaid and St Marks to Orrisdale road Ballasalla.
Motorists are urged to drive with care and allow extra time for their journey this morning as the Island is affected by poor weather conditions.
A yellow warning for heavy rain was in place between 6am-9am this morning.
Police say motorists should expect standing waters on all roads.
