Former MLC leaves Treasury
A seasoned politician will officially bid farewell to Manx politics tomorrow (Wednesday).
Phil Braidwood will attend his final Treasury meeting after eight years in the department and 20 years as an East Douglas MHK and MLC.
His political life effectively ended last week when he missed out on being re-elected to the Manx parliament’s upper house.
On Agenda last night, Mr Braidwood confirmed he is stepping down from Treasury – despite a request to stay from the Minister.
