Police increase on-foot presence in Island communities
The promise of more 'bobbies on the beat' has been met with a hugely positive reaction from Island residents online.
The constabulary has recently taken to social media to announce that 'community policing is back', with a more visible on-foot presence across the Island's communities being implemented.
It's thanks to a £3 million increase in funding for the police announced in the 2019/20 Manx Budget - part of which has been used to recruit more officers.
