Tribute to musical brothers born in the IoM
A statue of the Bee Gees has been unveiled on Douglas Promenade.
In the sunken gardens on Loch Promenade, the bronze work by sculptor Andy Edwards shows the brothers Maurice, Barry and Robin Gibb.
Born in Douglas the trio are famous for hits such as 'Stayin' Alive', 'Tragedy' and many more.
Mayor Jon Joughin, who unveiled the statue just now, said the brothers 'never forgot the land of their birth' and had always taken every opportunity to speak with 'deep affection and pride' of their Manx roots.
