Former MLC weighs in on debate
The founder of an Island radio station and former MLC says politicians should begin negotiations for the BBC to replace Manx Radio as the public service broadcaster.
Speaking in front of a Tynwald committee investigating public service broadcasting this afternoon, Juan Turner said the move would eventually remove the need for a subvention and improve the output.
He played down concerns it would result in a loss of identity:
