MEP claimed law firm backed out last minute

The TAX3 committee is holding talks with a number of parties today, but Matt Carthy MEP claimed on Twitter that Appleby had pulled out of a scheduled meeting last minute.
The company has told Manx Radio this wasn't the case, as it declined the committee's request for an appointment 15 days prior to their visit.
