Early hours assault prompts police appeal
Police are investigating an assault which occurred in the area of the Villa Marina Colonnade.
It happened around 1.10am on New Year's Day at the Gaiety Theatre end of the colonnade.
A man was seen running away towards Broadway followed by two other men.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
