Twenty-four-year-old claims to be King of the Isle of Man
A man’s been placed on probation and ordered to undergo medical treatment after admitting a breach of the peace in a Douglas hotel.
Twenty-four-year-old Aaron Lee Barnett of no fixed address appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
At an earlier hearing, he’d pleaded guilty to a single count of using provoking behaviour on 22 November.
Barnett had gone into the Best Western Palace Hotel in Douglas and told staff he was the king of the Isle of Man, kicking guests’ doors before police were called.
He was put on probation for a year.
