'No cutback in staff'

A busy airport shows we're victims of our own success.

That's the Infrastructure Minister's view on the recent queues being experienced at Ronaldsway during peak times.

Some passengers have waited for over an hour to get through security.

Ray Harmer MHK says they are looking into ways to improve the situation at security - but much of the problem is more passengers going through the airport - but on fewer planes.

He rejects any notions that there's been a cutback in staff, or scanning equipment is being under-utilised.
