People choosing between heating and eating
A hardship fund has been set up by Age Concern Isle of Man for elderly residents.
The fund is offered to people over 50 who are struggling financially.
Steve Dawson, the community project co-ordinator, told Manx Radio, the fund is a way to offer people direct access to a once off payment to assist in part of payment towards a utility bill:
