The advocate tasked with saving an Island business from collapse twice refused offers to challenge its liquidation, a court has heard.
Jerry Carter missed a court hearing which endorsed the winding up of Street Heritage in 2010.
But a jury has today been told that when he arrived in court ten minutes after the winding-up had been instigated, he twice turned down requests for the case to be reheard.
Mr Carter was subsequently sacked by the owners of Street Heritage.
Attorney General Stephen harding denies a charge of perjury and committing acts against public justice, relating to the company's collapse.
The trial continues.
