Orchid Line made available to wheelchair users
In the past, passengers with a disability have not been able to enjoy a trip on the miniature railway at the Wildlife Park.
However, that's all about to change.
The Manx Steam and Model Engineering Club, which operates the railway, have designed and built a disabled-friendly carriage over the last twelve months - meaning the attraction can now offer a more inclusive experience.
Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford has been invited to officially commission the carriage this Sunday (5 Aug).
Wheelchair users across the Island are invited to come along, and experience riding the Orchid Line for the first time.
