 
                            Review of universal provision is underway
Government will spend £800,000 paying for TV licences for pensioners on the Isle of Man over the next year.
But it says a review of universal provision is underway and it intends to explore additional eligibility criteria.
Treasury will pay for licences for people over the age of 75 who don't receive income support until December 2023.
Minister Alex Allinson says it's due to the cost of living crisis but admits that more stringent assessment may be needed in future:
