Ringwood rider says he's riding 'with a smile on his face'
James Hillier says he's enjoying his early outings on his superbike in the first few days of TT 2023.
The OMG Racing rider put in the seventh-fastest time in the superbike class last night at 128.189mph and also went seventh at 124.042mph on the superstock.
An oil spill during last night's session near Barregarrow meant the supersport and supertwin classes were cancelled.
Hillier says whilst it was disappointing, not to get a runout on the supersport, he's feeling good on the 1000cc machines:
TT 2026: Rhys Stephenson targeting steady progress for debut
TT 2026: DAO Racing returns with Josh Brookes at the helm
TT 2026: Nathan Harrison to race again under H&H Motorcycles banner
TT 2026: Jamie Williams to contest Supersport & Sportbike races
