TT 2023: Alan Founds confirms new passenger Colin Smyth

Founds' previous passenger was excluded this week after positive drugs test

Sidecar racer Alan Founds has confirmed Colin Smyth will be his passenger for tonight's practice (31 May).

It comes after Founds' previous teammate, Jake Lowther, was excluded from this year's TT after returning a positive drugs test after a random check.

In an official statement Team Founds Racing says it is 'devastated and upset by this week's events' adding: "We do not condone any of the actions that have lead to this situation."

The team adds: "We respect the clerk of the course's decisions and fully support testing the testing of all riders and passengers at the TT."
