"My helmet wasn't damaged!"
TT rider Rob Hodson has given an update saying he's 'a bit bruised' after coming off his bike in the final lap of yesterday's Superbike race.
The racer from Wigan says he was looking good for an 8th place finish, and possibly a 130mph average last lap, before crashing at Sarah's Cottage.
He says he 'tucked the front and went down, myself and the bike coming to a blunt stop, thankfully the air fence doing its job and preventing serious injury.'
Hodson says he also lost a bit of skin off of his shoulder, but otherwise he's fine - just disappointed and annoyed it happened with less than a lap to go.
On a positive note, he adds; his helmet wasn't damaged in the incident.
