Incident at Joey's delays sidecar qualifying session

New start time of 8.15pm

An incident during this evening’s practice session has caused a delay to the sidecars going out.

It’s happened at Joey’s near the 26th Milestone on the Mountain Course.

No further details have been released.

Both air-med helicopters are in use - one for this incident and one for a separate non-related incident. 

It means the sidecar qualifying session, which was due to start at 8.05pm, has been delayed as a result.

The sidecar session got underway at 8.23pm with riders warned about stationary yellow flags at Joey's as well as reports of a possible burst water main at Cronk-ny-Mona.
