Follows issues at North West 200
Dunlop has had to withdraw its slick rear tyre range from its TT offering following issues at the North West 200.
The manufacturer had to pull its products from the event in Northern Ireland after a number of riders suffered issues with tyre-wear throughout the day.
Parts of the tread kept flying off during racing.
It had hoped to have the problem sorted before the TT however today it says it's taken the decision to pull the slicks and offer a treaded rear tyre range instead.
Isle of Man TT statement: “We are racers at heart and safety is very much our first consideration. With our long history of success at the Isle of Man TT, we know what it takes to win and set lap records at one of the most challenging races in the world. 1/
