Up to £10,000 fine for those caught flying drones during races
The IOM Constabulary is reminding members of the public not to use drones to film or photograph the Manx Grand Prix or Classic TT.
It comes after one was reported flying near the Creg Na Baa last night (17 Aug) just two hours after roads were closed for racing.
Airspace restrictions will be in place around the course during the MGP, one hour before the course closure time until the final road opening.
Drones cannot be flown within the airspace extending approximately 1,000m outside the course.
There's also a ban in place over Douglas Bay and within five miles for Thursday, 28 August from 7.20pm until 7.50pm during the Typhoon display.
Anyone caught could be fined up to £10,000.
