Record broken in first sidecar race of 2024
Emmanuelle Clement has officially become the fastest female competitor in a sidecar race at the Isle of Man TT.
Clement broke the record on the opening lap of the first sidecar race as she and driver Todd Ellis recorded a speed of 113.006mph.
They smashed through that benchmark on the second lap, achieving 113.786mph.
Ellis and Clement finished the race in 7th position.
The record was previously held by Estelle Leblond.
Ellis and Clement are making their TT debut this year, and are the reigning sidecar world champions.
Clement also broke the record unofficially during qualifying with a speed of 112.991mph.
She told Radio TT she couldn't have done it without Ellis:
