He has won gold as part of the Great Britain Team Pursuit at the World Track Championships in Melbourne.
The quartet of Ed Clancy, Steven Burke, Geraint Thomas and Peter Kennaugh beat Australia in their own backyard in a new World Record time of 3 minutes 53.295 seconds.
