Isle of Man takes bronze team medal as well
Will Draper has won the Isle of Man's first medal of the 2023 Island Games.
He took bronze in the triathlon with a time of 01:55:19.
The gold medal was won by Joshua Lewis of Guernsey (01:52:42) and silver was taken by Jersey's Oliver Turner (01:55:08).
Manx athlete Corrin Leeming finished in 5th place, with a time of 02:02:50.
The combined times of the 8 Manx athletes who took part in the triathlon secured the Isle of Man bronze in the team competition as well. They scored a total time of 06:07:02.00 behind Jersey's 06:02:05.00 and Guernsey's 06:04:59.00.
