Laxey are through to Easter Monday’s Cu-Plas FA Cup Final after winning a seven goal thriller on Saturday.
The Miners defeated Old Boys 4-3 at Glen Road to book their place in the showpiece occasion of the season.
Steve Falconer’s side raced into a 3-0 half-time lead to all but seal the tie but they had to withstand a brave Old Boys fight back before confirming their progress.
Goals from Jim Travers, Nigel Beattie and Lee Cowley put them in the ascendancy but, amazingly, Gary Quirk, Liam Buckley and a Craig Stewart penalty hauled Old Boys level.
However, just when a brilliant comeback looked to have forced extra-time, Ashley Webster grabbed a last minute winner.
