Webster takes Top Award

Ramsey all rounder Ollie Webster has been named as Cricketer of the Year for 2009.

He scored over a thousand runs with the bat with an average of 39, and claimed 38 wickets over the summer season.

Former Zimbabwe test player Travis Friend took the Manx Radio Trophy for the Best Batsman. He scored 691 runs for Castletown at a very impressive average of 86.

Other winners at the recent awards evening and dinner were:-

Best Bowler - Garreth Roome;
Best All Rounder - Max Stokoe;
Best Wicketkeeper - Ricky Kniveton;
Best Fielder - Danny Kniveton.
