Volunteers wanted to help run 2025 Manx Rally

Event Director says 'next generation' needed in the long term

Manx Auto Sport is calling for volunteers to help make sure this weekend's Manx Rally goes ahead on Island.

The organisation is calling for marshals, radio operators and timekeepers to sign up ahead of the 2025 meeting taking place this Friday and Saturday (11-12 April).

A series of signing-on sessions for volunteer roles will take place over the next three days at the TT Grandstand.

Event Director Mark Ellison says it's vital they don't just get people to help out now but that there's also the 'next generation' willing to fill positions in the long-term to ensure the meeting survives:

Signing-on evenings for anyone interested in taking up a voluntary role for the event will take place at the Mike Hailwood Centre behind the TT Grandstand on Glencrutchery Road in Douglas today, tomorrow and Thursday (8-10 April).

All sessions on those days will take place between 4pm and 7.30pm and anyone attending is asking to bring proof of their MSUK licence for 2025.

Registering to become a marshal and online training can be found online at Motorsport UK.

The 2025 Manx Rally is expected to include 18 special stages and will also act as a round of the Protyre Asphaly Rally Championship, ANWCC Stage Rally Championship and the Manx Rally Championship
