Volleyball: IoM goes top of Lancashire League 

Manx side win all games in opening round of fixtures

Volleyball Isle of Man has rocketed to the top of the Lancashire League after the first round of fixtures in the competition at the weekend.

The Manx team is entering the league for the first time this year and played it's first matches in the tournament in Garstang on Sunday (4 September).

They played five games during the course of the day against Garstang 1, Garstang 2, Wigan, Blackpool and Ulverston, winning all of them.

The next round of the league will take place in October.
