Win for Manx team in Sheffield
Vikings are through to the next round of the English Hockey Association Investec Women's Trophy.
On Sunday they travelled to face Sheffield University Bankers who have made a strong start to the season in the North Division Two South East League.
The Manx side started tentatively but got into their stride as the first half progressed.
Vikings dominated the second period but couldn't convert their chances.
However, with eight minutes remaining, a cross from Megan Roberts was intercepted by the goalkeeper and Kim Carney smashed home the rebound.
The 1-0 victory means Vikings face Leeds Adel in the next round.
