Vagas’ ladies fight for promotion

With just a handful of matches remaining, Vagabonds ladies gave themselves a fighting chance of promotion from RFUW North Division One with a 31-12 win over Leodensians.

Isle of Man Sport’s Team of the year for 2009 have one away game remaining at Eccles next week while the two sides above them, Morpeth and Northumbria, play each other.

A Vagas win will put immense pressure on Morpeth who will need to beat table topping Northumbria to deny Vagas.
