Vagabonds regained the BSM Manx Cup with a 19-8 victory over old rivals Douglas at Mooragh Park.
It was a polished performance from the Glencrutchery Road outfit who pretty much dominated from start to finish and used their powerful pack to starve the Douglas back line of the possession it needed.
Vagas struck in the 23rd minute when Rob Martin barged his way over for a try which Jonny Beckley converted to make it 7-0.
Bryn Snellgrove struck a penalty for Douglas just before half-time to make it 7-3 at the break.
Just four minutes into the second half, Vagas went further ahead when Martin picked up his second try of the game.
Douglas got their noses back into it 10 minutes later with a Geoff Myles try but they were unable to build on it and, as the time ticked away, Leigh Kennaugh snatched a late try for Vagas to seal the win and the silverware.
