Vagabonds lose at Ruskin Park

Vagabonds crashed to a 13-9 defeat away at bottom side Ruskin Park in EuroManx South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One.

The Manx side had a host of players unavailable to travel and were turned over by a side they beat 55-10 just over a month ago.

Three Jonny Beckley penalties were the sum total of Vagas’ efforts for the afternoon, although they did have a try disallowed near the end which could have won them the game.

This is the latest in a series of results, which have seen Vagas lose by five points or less, and they will be hoping for much better in 2008.
