Sold out 'Saturgay' raises enough to charter flight
Vagabonds Ladies' rugby team are off to Guernsey at the end of the month, thanks to a night of glitz, glamour, and drag queens.
'Saturgay' was the first of many fundraisers being put on by the squad, after their income took a big hit because of the pandemic.
It raised enough money to charter a flight to the Channel Island on Hop-tu-Naa for a rematch against the Raiders, who the Manx side beat last month.
Player Sophie Henry was one of the organisers of the night:
Triathlon: Trials to be held for 2027 Island Games squad
Shooting: Bellhouse impresses during wintry league round
Football: Union Mills seeking more players for women's team
Golf: 'Amazing' to earn full Ladies European Tour card, says Dawson
