With favourites Southern Nomads not playing, Vagabonds B moved into top spot in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield with a 22-14 win against Emerging Nomads.
Vagas led 22-0 at half-time and survived a Nomads second half fightback.
In the other Shield game, Douglas B got their first win of the season beating Ramsey B 39-17.
Al Christian and Daniel Bonwick both scored for Ramsey with Bonwick converting his own try.
Steve Cleator also kicked a penalty and a conversion for Ramsey.
