
After a delay of an hour and five minutes, last night's untimed Manx Grand Prix practice session eventually got underway to allow competitors one lap around the Mountain Course.
Heavy rain and mist over the hills did clear and the Clerk of the Course was able to give permission for the machines to be let away from the Grandstand.
Many competitors described conditions as very wet but said was an important chance to see if different set-ups would work ahead of racing next week.
No incidents were reported.
