The guest of honour at the Isle of Man Bank Sports Awards this evening (Thursday) has already enjoyed a busy day on the Island.
Multi-champion gymnast Beth Tweddle has been at the Strand Shopping Centre in Douglas, helping recruit volunteers for the Commonwealth Youth Games in September.
She has also spoken to school children and sponsors at a lunch at the headquarters of the Isle of Man Bank.
Tweddle, who is coaching some of the Island's young gymnasts ahead of tonight's gala awards ceremony at the Villa Marina, says it's nice to have an evening to congratulate people who have worked tremendously hard for success:
Athletics: Top-five for Cain at Swansea Half Marathon
Jamie Cringle 'a couple of steps closer in the right direction' after TT crash
Football: Castletown and 'Youthie' into Paul Henry Gold Cup final
Jade Burden 'so fired up' for rearranged title fight
