Rutter not quitting despite new role

Michael Rutter says he'll still be riding at the Isle of Man TT despite his move into team management.

Yesterday, he announced he'd be in charge of the Bathams AJN Racing BMW team which makes its debut in next year's British Superbike championship.

Storm Stacey was revealed as their rider for the short circuits campaign.

Seven-time TT winner Rutter, who will be 53 next April, insists he's not ready to quit racing just yet:

This year, the racing legacy of the Rutter family was celebrated at the Isle of Man TT Races.

In recognition of the achievements of Michael and his father Tony - also a seven-time TT winner - the Glen Helen 1 corner was renamed 'Rutters' whilst a Rutter Legacy Lap also took place where Michael was joined by fellow riders on machinery used during he and his father's respective careers.
