World and British champion to be joined by passenger Melanie Farnier

Former TT winner, Tim Reeves will make his return to the sidecar class on the Snaefell Mountain Course this year.

Having missed the 2025 meeting, the multiple World and British Champion will be joined by passenger, Melanie Farnier for both three-wheeled races at the 2026 event.

Competing on the Carl Cox Motorsport LCR Honda, it will also be a welcome comeback for Farnier who last contested the TT in 2022.

Speaking about his return, Reeves says it was 'tough' to miss last year's races, but says the 'hunger is still there' and is looking forward to working alongside Farnier.

Having made his mountain course debut in 2008, Reeves has managed top-ten finishes in every single TT race he's completed including one victory in the Sidecar 1 TT Race in 2013 as well as seven further podiums.

Meanwhile, Farnier made her maiden appearance at the races in 2015 and since then has managed two top-ten finishes in the Sidecar 2 TT Races in 2018 and 2022.

Team owner, Carl Cox adds: "We’ve been working with Tim for many years and been on the podium, so this isn’t our first rodeo together!

"We’re so excited to be fully behind his campaign for this year with Mel in the ‘chair’."

The 2026 Isle of Man TT Races are due to take place from Monday, 25 May to Saturday, 6 June.
