Northern Irishman won't be racing on roads with new team
Lee Johnston won't be taking part in next year's Isle of Man TT after signing with a new team for the British Supersport Championship.
The Northern Ireland rider has agreed a deal with Swan Sencat Triumph Racing, but the team won't be entering road races.
The 35-year-old told BBC Sport NI it was the team's decision not to take part in events like the TT and North West 200, and he didn't want to find another team on a part-time basis for the road races.
Johnston took victory in the Supersport class at TT 2019, but hasn't raced at the event since 2022 due to injuries.
