Good turnout takes on annual challenge in Ramsey
Andrew Isaac and India Halsall have taken the top honours during this year's Manx Middle Distance Triathlon event in Ramsey.
The annual challenge saw competitors taking on a 1.9km swim, 56-mile cycle route and half-marathon run across a day of competition centred around Mooragh Park on Sunday (16 June).
In the men's race, Isaac claimed top spot in a time of four hours and 20 minutes with Neil Kelly (four hours, 45 minutes) finishing second and James Reed (five hours) in third.
It wasn't the only success for Isaac who also won the Mixed Team category alongside Sophie Acton.
Elsewhere, Halsall's time of six hours and five minutes was enough for victory in the women's race ahead of Emma Vickers and Katherine Cubbon who finished second and third respectively.
Meanwhile in the two other team events the men's contest was won by the squad of Richard George, Gianni Epifani and Matt Callister (four hours, 29 minutes) whilst the pairing of Clara Isaac and Caitlin Gelder (five hours, 20 minutes) took victory in the women's race.
The next event on the Isle of Man triathlon calendar will be the new Supersprint Triathlon Relay on Sunday, 21 July.
