Top three all win

The top three in CFS Division Two all won against lowly opposition on Saturday.

Runaway leaders Colby were given a battle by Douglas & District but emerged 6-3 winners.

Two goals each from Furo Davies and Alan Harrison, plus goals from James Cain and Marty Moore, sealed the points.

Jamie Cowin, James McIlhagga and Ricky Bent were the D&D scorers.

Second placed Michael completely demolished Jurby.

A four goal-haul from player-manager Nick Hurt, hat-tricks from Paul Corlett, Michael Shimmin, Mike Hammond and Jamie Moffatt, and one each from Michael Perks and Kieran Quinn sealed the 18-0 rout.

And Manx football’s most prolific striker scored five as Pulrose defeated Foxdale 8-2.
